This gets them used to the routine of regular visits; getting to know our faces and enjoying the amenities designed to encourage them. As with all health issues, PREVENTION is the key to success. During infancy and toddler stages we are able to provide advice to parents to establish good dental health habits that will last a lifetime. Our practice is a base for the Childsmile team, which is a national programme designed to improve children’s oral health and reducing levels of tooth decay. We will show you and your child how to brush their teeth correctly and we will discuss the importance of a good diet. Register your child at the practice as soon as they are born, to ensure we can provide you, and them, with preventative dental care from birth. It takes about 2 or 3 days to start working, and 2 to 3 weeks to see the full effect. The effects usually last for about 3 or 4 months. If you have Botox injections again, you should wait at least 3 months.
